Angel Pit Bull Terrier & Shepherd Mix San Diego, CA

Angel is an 11 yr female brindle pit/shepherd mix ? full of love and a total sweetheart! ? Her previous owner unfortunately passed away.

Fully house trained, walks great on leash, & knows her basic commands (sit, up, down, stay, come, etc). Will especially work for treats! ?

Loves affection and ultimately just wants companionship. ? You could say she prefers people, but also likes other dogs, kids, cats, and even birds. No prey drive, but of course would do best with calm family members. ?

Angel still has plenty of energy (loves long walks followed by a good snooze) but also loves her naps and cozy snuggles on the couch. ?

Will play fetch ? when in the mood but would prefer to explore outside and stroll at her own pace, smelling the roses along the way. ?

She loves to be outside, loves the beach ? and even plays well with other pups at dog beach. ?? Her foster dad lives a pretty active life and Angel gets to tag along often ? , but as she’s gotten older she is just as happy taking it easy as long as she gets a few walks a day. Exercise is still necessary to keep her young and healthy, of course!

Angel unfortunately tends to get chronic ear infections so her ears can be rather sensitive, but it is manageable if regular cleanings and allergy supplements are kept up with. ??

Angel’s former owner of 9 years was a woman who sadly passed away 2 years ago, so naturally Angel takes to women quicker, but she also does great with men. Angel’s current foster dad thinks she would do great in a family environment. ?????

Angel would do great in a home with a yard since she loves to roam outside and lay in the shade and sometimes sun. ?

Overall she’s a pretty chill ol’ gal with lots of love to give and life to live! ? Her foster dad loves her very much and while they share a very special bond, he feels Angel deserves a more steady and relaxing lifestyle to live out her senior years. ?
