Anastasia's house manners are wonderful and she's very quiet. She will find a spot near you and watch you until it's time for her favorite thing - a nice walk! Ana has plenty of energy to hike with you and enjoys being in the woods.
Anastasia gets along well with other dogs and loves all people. There are three other dogs in her foster home and she is very polite, but does not want rough and tumble play. Ana would be fine as an only dog or with a mellow pack. She likes to be part of the family and loves to go for car rides. Give her belly rubs and you are a friend for life.
Anastasia was found on the road dragging a rope behind her. A man stopped, picked her up, and took her to a volunteer's house. He tied Anastasia to the bumper of their car and left. Our volunteer took her to the vet and had her vetting and spaying done. While there Anastasia was found to have heartworms. She was left at the vets to be treated and has lived in a crate at the vets since then. Her heartworm treatment is complete and she is ready to find her forever family.
Please help Anastasia find the home she deserves with people who will love her forever!
