Meet Padme and Anakin!

Padme is a two year old, tiny little peanut. She finds comfort in Anakin. She is working on potty training and doing well with a fake grass puppy pad. She is a little quirky and terrified of loud noises and quick movements. She wants to be loved but is still working on being brave enough to come up to her foster humans. Once in her foster momma's arms, she enjoys soft, slow pets. Her ideal home would be with her friend Anakin without small children.

Anakin is estimated to be five years old. He does not know he is a small little fellow. He likes slow introductions to other dogs. He is not too sure about cats. He loves to be held just as much as he loves to run and jump. He has high energy and is going through heartworm treatment.

They will need a very patient family as they take a long time to get used to new people and situations. Both are fearful of fast movements and loud noises. Potty training is a work in progress and they must be leashed outside as they will run.

All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
