Amos Terrier Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Meet Amos, an approximately 3 month old possible chihuahua/terrier mix who became a Misfit when he was found alongside a rural highway at just 4 weeks old. His sibling had just been run over and a good samaritan saved Amos from the same fate. This pet is neutered, up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, heart-worm negative, and micro-chipped!

Amos is a great puppy, especially for still being so young! He is working on potty training and kennel training and doing well, but he is still a puppy so he has accidents. He loves all dogs, big and small, but prefers to be his foster mom’s sidekick rather than romping with the other dogs. He will play with the other dogs in his foster home, but always comes looking for his foster mom when he is done. He loves chewing (don’t all puppies) so lots of bones and toys are a must for this little guy.

Amos is in a foster home with other dogs and a couple of cats and does well with everyone. He is working on basic commands and is very treat motivated so it makes teaching him new tricks very easy. This little guy would love a family that is going to take him places and truly let him be a part of the family. He thrives on his human time, probably more than his animal friend time.
Amos has never been around kids, but his foster mom doesn’t think he will have any issues with them. Amos can be a little skittish with new things, but his foster mom blames the chihuahua in him for that! He loves new people and has never had any issues with new foster siblings entering his home. Amos truly is one of those pups that adopters will be lucky if they decide he is the right fit for them. He’s just an all around great little guy that is looking for a family to love him as much as he will them! Oh, and did we mention, he gives the BEST hugs!
