Meet Amelie
Amelie is a 4 year old Lab/Pit mix. She's about 53 lbs, and although a total sweetheart, she is scared and nervous of new people and places. She has come a long way and can now meet new people, but new people need to move slowly as to not spook her.
She is very good with other dogs, and we actually prefer she go to a home with another dog, as they really help her build confidence and come out of her shell.
She needs a patient adopter to help build her confidence and coming out of her shell, but it will be super rewarding and worth it! ♥ She loves her people once she trusts you, and you'll see how big of a sweetheart she is!
She does not do well with small kids as they scare her.
She was born with a deformed front paw, but she is not in pain and can walk fine, and even enjoys short hikes and walks. She does not require surgery.
Amelie is house trained, too!
