Amber Labrador Retriever Normal, IL

Amber is a beautiful 7-year old Chocolate Lab looking for her forever home. She found herself at Animal Control and would happily try to share her ball with anyone that walked past her run. She was thrilled to break out of the shelter and score a cozy foster home!

This sweet girl loves to be around her people and will follow her foster parents around the house. She does great with her canine foster sister, but has not met a cat. Her foster dad reports that Amber is the BEST walker he has ever had. She is housetrained, but can have the occasional accident if she's nervous. Her foster said that she is becoming more relaxed and comfortable in their home each day.

Amber is heartworm positive. Wish Bone will provide her treatment, but her adopter will need to work with our treatment schedule and keep her relatively calm while she's undergoing it.

Amber is gentle and friendly, so we expect she'd do well in most homes!! If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet lady, apply today! Her minimum adoption fee is $275 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
