Amazing Susie Sunshine Collie & German Shepherd Dog Mix Austin, TX

Our adorable Susie Sunshine is ready to be some lucky family's very best friend. This girl is sweet, funny and oh so lovable!

Susie and her sister unfortrunatley found themselves with a family who was not able to provide adequate care for the girls, so we gladly pulled them into rescue and promised them the very best forever families.

Susie is a ~1 year old Collie-GSD mix, she's a good mid-sized girl weighing in at just over 45 pounds and she should be done growing at this point. She is a great size and demeanor for any living situation - including an apartment to condo.

Susie is amazing with other dogs, fun loving, would be great with kids who have been taught to be respectful of animals and will be a great life-adventuring partner for any family. Susie loves to run, play, and swim. She is super smart, will be easy to train, and will brighten up your worst day with her beautiful smile. She is house and kennel trained, but could still use some work on her leash skills. She is great in the car as well.

Susie is looking for a family who can commit to appropriate exercise and ongoing socialization. She is also looking for a family who will be patient with her as she transitions from her foster family into her forever family - this could include having accidents, whining, and some general nervousness as she navigates her new life.

Susie is fully vetted (spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped) and is heartworm negative. The rescue will supply 3 months of heartworm prevention for her as well.
