Amazing Skye Labrador Retriever & American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Seattle, WA

When we saw this beautiful girl getting turned into the shelter, we absolutely could not leave her behind! We promised her the best forever life!

Skye is roughly 7-month-old Lab-Pittie mix. She is STUNNING and currently around the 30 pounds mark. We think she’ll be a good-sized girl around the 50-60 pound mark fully grown. She is a fantastic dog who would do fine in an apartment/condo/or house setting as long as her adoptive family ensures proper and on-going exercise. Many management companies may have restrictions on her breed – so please be sure to check if this applies to your living situation.


Skye’s is as sweet as they come, she is a lover of all things, plays great with dogs and is good with kids who have been taught how to be respectful of animals. She is young so we think she would easily acclimate into any family dynamics. She is pretty submissive and is a super smart little girl.

Although she is an older puppy, she just came into rescue and we are not sure what her life prior to us taking her consisted of – so her family should be prepared to help her continue on her potty / leash / life training with patience and kindness. She will also be leaving her foster family – which is scary – so she will need a family who will afford her patience and love as she makes this move.

Skye is fully vetted (vaccinated, spayed, dewormed, and microchipped). She is heartworm negative and we will send the remainder of her 6-months of heartworm prevention to her adoptive family.
