Meet Amazing Shakespeare
If you are in the market for a BDF (best dog friend) we have your man! Shakespeare is a ~5 year old German Shepherd Mix who is just looking for a loving family to call his own. Shake LOVES people and would be an amazing addition to any family dynamic.
Shake is a big man, weighing in at around 75 lbs. But he's out of the crazy high energy stage of his life and is just content to hang out with his family and take nice leisurely walks.
Shake is a low-energy guy, which makes him ideal for any living situation, but many management companies have restrictions against his breed so please be sure to check prior to applying for any breed or size restrictions if you live in a managed property.
Shake lives with dogs big and small and does great with all of them. We would however suggest he not live with very small dogs just because of his size - we wouldn't want him to trip nor a little dog to get plowed over by the big man. He has not been tested with cats but does AMAZING with kids.
Shake LOVES to play fetch and lounge in the sun, but his favorite activity by far is just to hang out with his people - whatever they are doing. He is house, kennel, and leash trained. Knows how to sit, stay, shake, down, and of course fetch.
His adoption fee is $350 - he is fully vetted and just had a checkup (shots won't be due for a year). He is heartworm negative and his adoption fee includes a 6-month supply of Trifexis for flea/heartworm prevention. Unfortunately, because the cost of vetting and care is so expensive, the fee cannot be lowered.
