Amazing Jordan!!! - Fostered in Lincoln American Staffordshire Terrier Shawnee Mission, KS

Hi! I'm Jordan. I am an approximate 8-year-old pit bull mix that has my very own best friend (Zeus-beagle mix). I am bonded to him, so we really need to stay together. My foster mom says I am sweeter than honey. I love people and cuddling. I also love to be outside. Zeus and I have fun running in the yard, relaxing in the sun, and going on walks with our harnesses.

I came in from a high kill shelter in Illinois. Zeus and I were strays before that so there isn't much known about our history. When I was rescued, I was very skinny and had dermatitis. Now I'm a big chonky boy with a beautiful shiny coat.

I am potty trained and kennel trained. I do well out of a kennel and sleep on my foster mom's bed at night. I also haven't gotten in any trouble while my foster mom is at work so am not required to be kenneled unless you prefer. I promise to let you know if Zeus and I plan any adventures or decide we want to cause any ruckus. We really mostly just like to lay around and think about how lucky we are to be in a loving home.

I would probably do better with bigger kids. Sometimes Zeus and I get a little excited and jump up on people. I could probably be trained not to jump but I would hate to knock any little kids down. I do weigh 55 solid pounds. People are just so exciting! Sometimes, I just want to get right in their face and give them kissesthey need to see how sweet I am right away, ya know? I really have shown no aggression at all to anyone, my bark may sound intimidating, but I just want your attention! I haven't met a cat so I'm not sure how well I would do with them.
