Meet Amalfi!

This sweet girl joined the Hero pack in August of this year, and is just precious. She’s a 5 year old Chihuahua mix, and quickly proved what a good girl she is. She is crate and potty trained, and she loves to play with sticks and her other toys. She loves attention (who doesn’t?!), and gives back the affection that she receives. She gets along well with smaller dogs, although the big guys do scare her a bit, so a slow introduction would work best. She does best eating separately from other dogs but is working on getting better at that. Hey, nobody’s perfect, right?

This sweet pup would love to meet her forever family soon, and show what a great, loving family member she will be!

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
