Almondine is a sweet, 12 year young precious girl looking for her forever home. She is a gentle, low-energy girl who loves nothing more than soaking up the sunshine and enjoying a good nap. She’s the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a calm, loving presence in their home.<br/><br/>Almondine is incredibly sweet and affectionate with people. She loves lounging around and relaxing in cozy spots. She is trustworthy when left loose in the house—no destructive habits! Almondine does not like being crated and becomes anxious if left in one for too long.<br/><br/>Almondine does well with dogs when she has controlled and slow intros because she can be growly initially, possibly from some age related pains. She’s been to a specialist and is now on pain medication. She has never been around cats but she has a low prey drive. Her foster home has 6’ fencing and she has never tried to escape. We believe she would be ok as an only dog as long as her person is home most of the time.
