All Spice is on emergency placement for behavior concerns. All Spice remains stressed in the kennel environment and is often observed to display stereotypical behavior in the kennel (spinning, jumping up, barking incessantly). Additionally, All Spice has become reactive to other dogs (lunging, hard barking). Medically, she is apparently healthy.

All Spice has no prior behavior information due to her coming in as a stray. She had initially appeared tense around handlers but with some treats and a soft voice, she warms up very quickly and becomes exuberant. With prolonged stay in the care centers, AllSpice has begun to deteriorate and has displayed high levels of kennel stress. She is often observed barking incessantly as well and pacing in her kennel, she has also begun to display dog reactivity. We recommend AllSpice goes to an adult-only home who can provide a safe environment where she can decompress. Using a reward-based approach to address AllSpice's dog reactivity, resource guarding, and overall anxiety is advised to set her up for success.
