BIO:
Wanna play? Alicia here, ready to report for duty! I’m an energetic, athletic young gal who would thrive with an active family that will allow me to work my body and brain with fun, stimulating activities such as long walks and jogs, playing lots of fun games, and chewing on all the toys I can get my little paws on. I get along well with other dogs - if you have a doggie already, I would do best with a playful pal who can tolerate my bouncy exuberance. I am also kid friendly, but would do best in a home without kitty cats.

I am highly intelligent, and need adopters who will commit to continuing training with me. I love training classes (I’m food motivated and especially love earning training treats!) and my foster momma says I am a star pupil; I think once we graduate basic manners, it would be great fun to try agility classes, too! I was previously trained to use pee pads indoors, so mastering outside potty training is a work in progress, and I need some guidance and patience while I master this important skill. I am crate trained, and know some commands including sit, down, leave it, touch, and watch me. Because I am so smart, I can try to push boundaries when bored, and need patient adopters who will keep me engaged. I am cuddly and very loving, too, but I am not the kind of pup who will enjoy quiet lounging time all day. If you are into an active, fun-filled lifestyle, I could definitely be the girl for you! ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS:
*ADOPTION FEE: $300
*Be at least 21 years of age
*Live in a 50-mile radius of Itasca, within the Illinois border
*Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household
*Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)
*Have a valid ID with current address (please provide proof of address if ID address is not up-to-date)
*Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation
*Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
