Ali's Story

Meet Ali! Ali is an approximately 8-year-old schnauzer looking for her forever home. Ali is 15 pounds of cute. She is a great little dog with a gentle and kind demeanor. She tries to bound after stuffies to play fetch with the other dogs but doesn't quite get the game. She's happy to go along with it though. She likes to sit in your lap and will attempt gentle sniffs of your face. She loves her treats. She does great when at the vet's office getting examined. She is quiet most of the time - only little barks occasionally - but also just quietly sweet in her demeanor, too. She is great with young children and does well with people she has only just met. Ali came to us with her brother, Gimli, both abandoned when their humans divorced and neither person committed to their care. We are committed to Ali, though, and finding her the best home for her. Originally, we were convinced she should be adopted with Gimli. However, as we have learned more about the two in their shared foster home, we see that Ali and Gimli thrive on the attention they get from people around them. They do not seek each other out but make it their duty to seek out their new favorite humans time and again! We are confident that they will both due well in their own separate homes with their own people (and family pets) to bond with.
