This is ALFIE

This boy came to Just Paws 8 years ago when he was only two years old from a Tennessee kill shelter.
Due to no fault of his own, his owners who now have 3 toddlers can no longer properly care for this senior boy.
In our adoption contract it states if you can no longer care for your dog then they must be returned to us.
So here we are looking for a foster or better yet , a foster to adopt family who can give this deserving guy a new home.
His favourite word is walk, he is good with kids, enjoys car rides , loves the outdoors and dipping in the lake . He would do best in a home in a low traffic neighbourhood as small loud cars make him anxious. He is good meeting dogs on leash but may react towards ones that are bigger than him.
For is age , he is still quite playful , healthy and loving.
Alfie does not jump on furniture unless invited , prefers to sleep on carpet and enjoys treats. He doesn’t have anxiety in the home and is ok being left alone while his owners go out for a bit. He is full house trained and likes to follow you around at times to see what you are up to but said to be very relaxed in the home and will chill with you while watching tv.
