Meet ALEX
United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal's ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.
Pet Information
#A5575632 Alex
is a devoted 1 year old black male Chihuahua who was brought to Baldwin Park Care Center as a stray on August 25. Weighing 13 lbs, Alex is a cute little guy who is very affectionate. He loves to give kisses and get lots of attention in return. He enjoys being carried and is a perfect size to take with you around town. He has a kennel mate who he's very friendly with. Since he's not neutered, at adoption Alex will need a trust waiver that his new owner will take care of that if it hasn't been done yet. Also, sweet baby Alex has a skin condition, so he will need to be seen by an outside vet for further diagnosis and treatment and will need to be adopted on a health waiver, essentially saying you'll make sure he sees his doctor. Alex is looking for a loving human to support, care for, and nurse him back to health. We know he is a sweet, loving boy who is so full of love and light.
