Meet Alex, an Australian Cattle Dog. Alex came from a shelter in Kentucky and appears to be a real deal blue heeler, 45 lbs and about a year and half old. He is a very sweet boy and just loves people. He seems to be good around kids but since he can jump up at times maybe no small children. He is fully house trained, walks well on a leash, knows his basic commands and loves to get treats (which makes him very easy to train). He is probably better off being an only dog since he has some past history but he is living in a foster home now with two other dogs and we haven't had any problems. He has no food issues and eats right next to the other dogs. As far as cattle dog behavior Alex show almost no prey drive or herding tendencies. He seems to be fairly low energy for a heeler. He has been fully vetted, neutered, up to date on all his shots and meds, and has been microchipped. Alex is almost complete, he just needs that forever home and loving family. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at matt.gbf@gmail.com. Alex is being fostered in Doylestown PA.
