Meet Alaska
Alaska is ready for home life!
This stunning girl has made so much progress! Her worried look is still her trademark - even when demanding pets like this photo!
It's unknown exactly what happened to her, but it's certain that Alaska was severely attacked by a dog, and dumped, before she came into our care. Although we have not done any extensive dog-testing due to her trauma, she is mild and curious when she sees dogs. We are willing to cat test her upon request.
If you have another dog in the household, and want to foster Alaska, you can keep them separate and work with us to do a very slow introduction.
Alaska is quiet, clean, and LOVES her crate. She prefers a yard to leash walking, but either is ok.
Alaska would not be a good option if you use power tools all the time, or have toddlers, or parrots. She is shy and timid still, but so SO rewarding!
Her favorite things include getting pets, wet food, and being outside for short periods of time.
Included in the adoption fee of $275 is up to date vet care, vaccines, microchip and spay surgery post adoption.
