Meet AJ
Meet AJ!
AJ is an approximately 1-2 year old adorable, medium-sized, black and white Lab mix that came into our rescue group from a crowded shelter. He likes to play with toys and like most Labs and Lab mixes, he is EXTREMELY food motivated.
AJ is NOT a dog for the first-time pet owner, and will ONLY be placed in a home with prior dog experience. He would be best suited for an active family that will give him the mental and physical activity that he craves. He is content to sit and watch tv with you, but also just loves being a part of the action. We think he would love to participate in some sort of dog sports, whether it be agility or obedience or other. He is very willing to please.
AJ needs to be placed in an adult only home, as he has not had a good experience with children. He is good with other dogs and has been tested with cats.
AJ has had some basic obedience training, is housebroken, neutered, and UTD on his vaccines. He receives monthly heartworm and flea preventatives.
