Meet Aida
Meet Aida. This special lady is certain there is a family out there for her, one that can look past the fact that she's not as young as she used to be and might not be as fluffy and soft as other dogs. Because this ole girl still has a lot to give. Aida is around 10 years old and 60 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped!
This old girl was brought in to the local shelter in horrible, horrible shape. She was hairless and mangey, her nails were incredibly overgrown and curling, and she had an enormous tumor on her side. But she deserved a chance at happiness and love.
Her nails are in better shape, her mange is gone, her cancerous tumor removed, but she is still just about hairless. And we knew it could be hard to find her a forever home, but we wanted to give her that chance, for however long she graces the world. ?
Miss Aida is housetrained. She does well with other dogs and cats. She also does well in the car. Aida enjoys wearing clothes to help keep her warm. She is a lady of simple pleasures. She loves a soft spot to sleep and being in the sunshine. And even in her older age, she still loves a good trashcan raid every now and again! Even though she is deaf, she loves to sing you a song and talk to you. There is definitely still some spirit and spunk left in her.
If you know you've got some love to give a lady in her golden years, you can send inquiries to our director of adoptions at muttmisfitsadoptions@yahoo.com or apply to meet / adopt at www.muttmisfits.org/adoption-application!
