Agatha - Houston's Story
Meet Agatha! (Approximately 6 years old). Like a lot of tiny dogs (8 lbs) she has a big personality. She’s quirky and sweet and loves to give kisses! She’s very playful with her sister Gretta and also playful with the resident cat in her foster home. She will come up to you and gently paw your legs and ask to be picked up and held. She’s a happy, sweet girl.

Agatha’s foster mom is still working with her on house training, She generally does well with normal Iggy management strategies.

Agatha loves going for walks. She does all her business on her walks or in the backyard. She can also use pee pads in the house at night time.

Agatha and Gretta are available for adoption individually or as a pair. They are very playful together and content crated together. Their ideal adopter would be a Iggy experienced person who understands that there will be an initial adjustment of learning to trust and to feel safe. It took a few months for their personalities to fully emerge in their foster home after the death of their human mama.

My optimal adoptive home:
Moderate Energy/Activity
Has someone that can come home at lunch and let me out to potty
Has an area that can be set up for me to stay in during a full work day with potty pads
Is okay with a dog in their lap quite frequently

I Do Well With:
Children under 12 unknown,
over 12 yes,
Cats yes,
Other small dogs yes
Medium or Large Dogs yes

Apartment Homes yes-I am low energy and walk and potty well on a leash

At night, I prefer to sleep in:
My kennel,
A dog bed, or
My human's bed.

Walking on a leash
I walk very well on a leash and enjoy going for walks.

Crate training, I consider the crate my safe space and don't mind being in there at all for reasonable amounts of time.
