Adorable Dakota Labrador Retriever Mix Seattle, WA

Dakota is an adorable little Lab Mix who is paws on the ground in Seattle and ready to meet his forever family! His adoption donation is $500.

Dakota is currently about 3 months old and we anticipate he’ll be a good “lab size” when he’s fully grown – probably in the 50-55 pound range. Labs tend to be active and social dogs, so his forever family should be prepared for all things Lab – including consistent exercise and ongoing socialization.

Dakota has lived with other dogs both large and small and would be fine as part of a pack or as a bachelor dog. He would be fine living with kids who have been taught to be respectful of animals and given his age should be fine to grow up with a kitty companion.

He is still a young pup who is not fully anything rained yet, so his adoptive family needs to be willing to take on the challenges of potty, kennel, leash, and life training with patience and positive reinforcement.

The best suited family will be one that understands that dogs can take time to acclimate to their new homes - which could include having accidents, crying in their kennel, and chewing on things they are not supposed to.

We expect our dogs to be adopted by families who plan to keep them as indoor pets and part of the family. We do not adopt to families who plan to keep dogs outside for an extended period of time, for example the entire workday.
