Adler Hound Mix Cumming, GA

Adler is about 1.5 years old and is smaller than he looks at around 35 lbs. He can be a bit on the reserved side, but still incredibly sweet. Adler loves scratches behind the ears (which are incredibly soft by the way), and you'll see him slowly start to close his eyes as he relaxes and enjoys the pets. He is a chill and low-key dude, not to mention smart - he is quickly learning "sit", and we expect that with practice he could learn just about anything his human would care to teach him. Adler gets along with literally everyone, and has been both cat and kid tested - of course, he gets along wonderfully with other canines too! He is potty trained, rides well in the car, and comes when called, but he isn't always a huge fan of his crate (though he is compliant when treats are involved). Adler is a healthy guy , and will be neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations prior to adoption.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
