Meet Adele
Adele was picked up as a stray by Chicago Animal Control in rough condition. She was labeled “caution” because she was reactive and terrified in her kennel. Adele was suffering from skin infections, ear infections, was underweight, and missing hair. Fast forward several months and Adele is all healed up, ready to find her forever home!
Adele is about 2 years old and around 50 lbs. She is a very active, food motivated gal. She loves to play with her foster brother, and would do well with an active and confident dog sibling. Adele is house trained and crate trained, and working on her leash manners (it was obvious she was never walked before). She is very slow to warm up to new people, especially men, but once you've gained her trust she's eager to please. She will bark and has stranger danger, so a busy home with small children isn’t going to be ideal for her. Adele will need continued training and confidence building. She is very active and loves to play with her toys. Adele is not a good fit for apartment or condo living and would love a fenced yard to play in. She would do best in an adult home. Adele did well meeting a dog savvy cat.
