Meet miss Addison! She's silly, lovable playful and loves toys. She's full of energy (as any young Springer should be) but also loves to snuggle and is perfectly happy to curl up on the couch for a snooze as long as she can be near her people. Addison goes to day care several days a week and gets lots of socialization with all the other dogs. She's being fostered with two other Springers and three cats, though she would love to play with the cats she's very respectful. Addison listens well and is treat motivated which makes training really fun. She's currently in puppy school fine tuning her manners and learning to walk nicely on leash. Addison is a little nervous about riding in the car but she's making lots of progress getting over her fears and rides beautifully. She is crate trained, although not a huge fan for long periods of time. So, someone home at least part of the day would be ideal for her. She is a true example of a Velcro Dog, wanting more than anything to be by your side. Addison is looking for a special family that has the time and patience to keep working with her and give her all the attention she needs. She has so much love to give and has stolen the hearts of her foster family. She will be an amazing addition to her future family. ADOPTION FEE: $350.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative. ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org. Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possible. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
