Meet Adam
Meet Adam, a stunning 55 lb. gray and white Pitbull terrier mix with beautiful eyes that could outshine a summer sky. At first glance, Adam might seem like a confident hunk, but he’s actually a big, soft marshmallow on the inside—just a little melted around new humans. His story is a mystery, but it’s clear he didn’t have the easiest start in life. Adam is cautious with people at first, but once he trusts you, he transforms into the most loving, snuggly movie companion you could ever dream of.
Adam’s secret sauce? Other dogs. He absolutely adores them—big, small, bossy, chill, it doesn’t matter. He’s the ultimate follower and finds comfort and confidence in the company of his canine friends. Watching him romp around the yard with his dog pals is pure joy, and their influence helps him slowly open up to his human companions. He would thrive in a home with another dog to guide him and show him the ropes.
This boy is equal parts playful and chill. He loves chewing on toys, zooming around the yard with his four-legged buddies, and then plopping down to binge-watch movies with his humans. (Popcorn optional, belly rubs mandatory.) While he doesn’t need constant exercise, he’d love a good run or play session a couple of times a week to burn off his mischievous energy. Without that outlet, he’s been known to “redecorate” a bit—he’s still a young dog, after all!
Adam’s ideal home would be a calm and patient one, maybe with older kids who understand his need for space at first. He’s making incredible progress with his foster family, snuggling up during movie nights and learning to trust, but he’ll need someone willing to continue helping him build his confidence. Bonus points if you’ve got a yard for him to dig in (he thinks he’s an aspiring landscaper) and a doggy sibling for him to follow and learn from.
If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, and absolutely lovable companion who just needs a little extra time to blossom, Adam might be your perfect match. Give him the chance to show you what an amazing dog he can be—you won’t regret it.
