Acorn came to us from a big government shelter with a dangling leg. In less than 24 hours she had surgery to remove her leg. After she healed up from that, she went back to the veterinarian for all her regular vetting. She is an absolute SWEETHEART. She has been quiet, getting along with all the dogs, and just loves humans. She does our 3 steps easily. Not sure if she would get tired if there were a lot of steps. She can run without issue. <br/><br/>Adoption Donation is $300 to approved home. Cash. You may use a check if local to Terre Haute and you have proof of residency. There will be a receipt on your contract. Almost all of our volunteers hold full time jobs. We receive a lot of emails and texts daily. We do not have a shelter as most of our dogs are in foster care. We do not have 'open' hours. We do attend, with the local shelters, the PetSmart Nationals events that are held about 5 times a year where you may view a lot of dogs from Multiple facilities at one time.
