Meet **Achilles**
Achilles is a beautiful and incredibly smart dog who is always eager to learn something new. He loves to show off his tricks and is an enthusiastic heading out the door to walk with our volunteers.
While he can be shy around new people, once he warms up, he just wants to be near you.
Achilles has plenty of energy and would benefit from an active home where he can stay engaged and get lots of exercise. He enjoys his walks but can get easily overwhelmed, in a busy environment, so a home in the country would be ideal for him.
Achilles is currently struggling in the shelter environment and would greatly benefit from a foster or adoptive home that can give him time to decompress.
It Achilles can be choosey with his dog friends, and he has never been around cats.
At this time we do not suggest households with children younger than teens for Achilles.
He is young and ready to thrive in a patient home that can help him continue to grow and learn.
