Ace's Story
Hi my name is Ace and I was surrendered by my owners to the rescue because they were getting evicted from their house. Well, I have been adopted and returned two times and the rescue has promised me the third time will be the charm as they do not want to see me bounced around anymore.
The first time I was adopted out I was there for ONE day and they introduced me to the other doggie in the house and I was nipping out at him. I did not know him or where I was in this new home. There are other dogs in my foster home and yes I can be rather barky to them and I do chase them at times, but I am being corrected by my foster Mom that I need to behave with the other dogs. I just did not know being a single dog from my owner.
My second adopter had me for 3 weeks, they bought me all kind of beds, clothes, and toys which is great they even told the rescue they spent $1000 on me but when training was discussed they did not want to put money into training. The rescue was not told that grandkids came over the house from time to time and they scared me so I growled at them. I was letting them know I was scared but what I thought was my new Mom would not listen nor help train me so they brought me back.
I am a ball of energy and I love to walk so I need people that are very active. I also need people who will be willing to work with me and train me. I can not be bounced around anymore as this just confuses me more. I do have occasional accidents in the house but if you help train me I will not, you see I am a really smart guy that needs a great balance of structure, routine, and love. I do like to lay close to you when you are sleeping because I do have separation anxiety from going from home to home to home, you would too wouldn't you?? I think I would be great with older kids just the younger ones scare me. I will need someone that is also okay with working with a trainer recommended by the rescue. We want this to be forever. Oh, and I come with all my toys, clothes, and other doggie stuff that they second people bought for me. Please I need you, I need FOREVER!!
