Meet Acadia
Hi, my name is Acadia! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Playful, active, still has a lot to learn!
-Can Live with Kids: Yes, respectful kids of any age
-Can Live with Cats: Yes, after a proper introduction. I might be "too much" for any senior kitties that want to be left alone.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, after an initial introduction here at the shelter and a prolonged introduction process in the home. I would do best with a tolerant, playful dog who will socialize with me.
-Can do Apartment Living: Yes, with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation
-Potty Trained: Not yet, but I'm eager to learn!
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, a 6-week puppy course
-Energy Level: HIGH!!!
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No, I'm already spayed
Additional Information: Acadia and her siblings are energetic little puppies on the hunt for their forever homes! They are still very young and have lots to learn, and will need owners who are dedicated to their training. Acadia will need a home where her owners are present most of the time to ensure she's getting the socialization and special attention that she needs.
Owning a puppy is a big responsibility and any potential adopters will need to be in it for the long haul. She will grow up to be an active, high-energy dog who is going to require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to keep her happy. This puppy would do best in active households with people that plan to take her on lots of adventures (once she's old enough, that is). If you're ready for the commitment of owning a puppy and would like to meet Acadia, the first step is filling out an adoption application to make sure it's a good match.
