You just won’t meet a happier guy than Abel…and he’s got a big smile and non-stop tail wags to prove it!
Abel is an 8 month old Lab mix, he weighs 40 lbs.
He has been in the best Foster home since he was a tiny puppy. He LOVES his Foster Mom and all of the dogs there. His best pal is his Foster Brother, Chesney. He follows him everywhere and he has really learned how to be a dog from him.
Abel is super social and friendly. His Foster Mom says “Abel has never met a stranger, he loves everyone. He wigglebutts all over the place and is just a goofy dude.”
Abel is crate trained. He likes to hang out in there sometimes too. He is 95% house trained, and he keeps his accidents to the pee pad near the door….such a good boy!
He is a top notch CUDDLER! He will cuddle people, dogs, kids…..but not cats! He is afraid of and wants nothing to do with cats.
Abel loves toys of any kind and will keep himself busy chewing and tossing them around. He also likes to steal toys from the other dogs in the house. He’s a submissive boy and will always take a correction from the other dogs.
Abel is doing great on the leash but he would love some help with focusing on the walk and less on every smell around him.
He loves naps in the sunbeams too!
Abel had a hard start and he’s overcome so much. He has put in a lot of effort into becoming such a sweet and loving pup. He is so deserving of getting back all of the love he gives.
