Meet Abe!!
Meet Abe!
Just the biggest lug you ever saw. He is a pretty easy going guy. He lives with several room mates ( adults) and cats and dogs. But Abe is welcoming to all he meets. His foster says he is a lovebug.
Abe's life was pretty rough before we found him. He came from a homeless encampment where he was not treated well. He had an injury to his neck, where he had been tied, too tightly, and had many animal bite wounds, probably from dog fights at the camp. ( not staged fights but there are quite a few unmanaged animals in the camps)
Abe came in as a stray at the Stockton Animal Shelter. He had been in their foster system and now he is with us. Abe lives with cats and kittens. He used to be reactive if they hissed at him but he pretty much just ignores them now. He would still need slow introductions to cats, which we always require anyway,
