What is Sam's Kennel’s adoption process?

PLEASE NOTE, WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION FOR THE PUBLIC TO VISIT! Our pets are fostered in NC and VA. However we do allow out of state adoptions. We have cost effective transporters who can get our adopted pets to almost any state on the East Coast. We DO NOT HAVE A PUBLIC FACILITY FOR THE PUBLIC TO VISIT!!!!! You can check out the local animals that are fostered in VA and NC browsing our Petfinder listings here or by visiting our local website at http://www.samskennel.com To adopt one of our rescue animals, you will need to place an application. You can find our application on our main web site at http://www.samskennel.com These adoption fees are for local adoptions. Local is defined as the state of VA or nearby NC locations. These fees do not apply for those dogs we ship to other states. Out of state northern adoptions have higher fees due to the vetting requirements being more expensive so the pet can travel legally across state lines. ADOPTION FEES Pups to 7 years of age. Adoption fee is $275.00 spay/neuter is included with the adoption fee for all ages! The dogs will be current on age appropriate vaccines and tests and current on all preventives. The dogs will also be microchipped. The adopter will get all health records with the pet. Senior Dogs over 7 years old $100.00 The pet will be altered, current on shots, current on de-worming, current on heartworm testing and on prevention and microchipped. The adopter will get all the health records for the adopted pet. Cats $100.00 (we will consider reduced adopt fees for cats over 7 years old) The pet will be current on all age appropriate vaccinations and spay/neuter is included!
