ABBY the senior chocolate lab! Meet sweet, sweet Abby! Abby is a 14 yr. old Chocolate Lab, she is 80 lbs. Abby is a quiet senior girl who is a very gentle soul. She was surrendered and had gotten adopted. She ended up with digestion problems at her new home. Her digestion issues cleared up as soon as she came back into rescue and we think she got into the cat food!

Abby is sweet and calm, good with dogs and cats.

Abby’s foster home has found the following…Abby is house trained but will need to get potty breaks three times a day. She is amazing on short walks and loves them! She will play fetch for a little bit. She can jump into low cars, but needs help with higher cars. Abby can do a few stairs but is nervous around non-carpeted indoor stairs (we think she might not have been allowed on stairs inside in her past home. She is great with cats in either foster home. She likes other dogs too! Oh and she LOVES naps on soft beds!

Abby is a happy, upbeat, loving dog who is looking for a person or family to give this senior girl the best time of their life.

Abby is up to date on her vaccines, had bloodwork, spayed, heartworm tested, is up-to-date on heartworm meds, had flea treatment, is dewormed and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is has been paid by a donor who cannot adopt her but wants to see her go into an amazing home. She is on meds for arthritis and thyroid.
