Please meet Abby! She is a s Poodle, weighing in at 21 lbs of total love! Abby was owner surrendered to our rescue because her mother could carry her up the stairs when she couldn’t do them herself. Even though Abby is senior, she still has so much life and love to give. She does have an old lady heart and takes Enalopril and Vetmedin daily and when her arthritis is acting up, she also takes Tramadol. She is also overweight, which doesn’t help her. We have been working on her weight slowly. She is truly a special lady and deserves an amazing home to live out the rest of her life. Her eyes do tear and she will require regular grooming. She loves to have attention, walk around with her friends or just enjoy the breeze. She loves to have a soft, cushy dog bed, the couch or a bed if you will let her. We cannot say enough great things about her! She is housebroken, crate trained (but would be devastated to stay in a crate), loves to go for walks and rides and skips to her own beat most days. Her foster Mom thinks she hung the moon and we all do too.

Cats: Yes, she passed her initial cat test. Supervision and proper introduction will be required.

Children: Yes, She has NOT been tested with infants or toddlers, so proper supervision and introductions would be required. She is senior and would prefer not to live with young and rowdy children.

ADOPTION INFORMATION:
We are a foster-based animal rescue and we thank you for your interest in one of our animals. Our animals are fostered in various locations in the a South and in New England. Our fosters and adoption coordinators are the backbone of what we do. Our fosters work tirelessly to integrate our rescue animals into their home, so that we can provide as much information to potential adopters as possible. In addition, our coordinators offer as much information regarding the medical and behavioral and personality characteristics as is known to our organization. Without them, and our extremely generous donors, we would not be able to save as many animals as we do every day. With each adoption, we operate a Pay It Forward program, whenever possible, to help other animals in our rescue and future animals in need.
