Meet 7627 King - I'm a SSNAP Dog
King is a senior SSNAP dog who's been living the good life at DRU for the past four years - he's one of our beloved long-timers, thanks to a few quirky behaviors that make him uniquely King.
Back in his prime, King was all about soaring through the air to catch a frisbee like a champ. These days, he's reluctantly traded in his high-flying stunts for a slower pace - to keep his joints happy.
King prefers his kingdom quiet, so he takes his walks mid-morning when the neighborhood is nice and peaceful. He's not a fan of other dogs, but give him the roadway to himself and he's one happy guy.
He's currently being treated for hypothyroidism, but don't tell him that - he's far too busy enjoying life on his own terms to let a little thing like that slow him down!
