Sweet Wendy is ready to meet her perfect match!! Wendy is very loving (lap dog type when she's tired and she loves to be with her people) super smart in learning basic training commands. She is great with our resident dog who doesn’t always enjoy puppy energy, but Wendy takes his “hints” quickly. She is great with kids but is still learning not to jump up so maybe older kids (mine are 8 and 11 she’s great with them). Cats are a mystery to her she sometimes barks at them but does not chase. We are learning to walk on a leash but just started due to her eye surgery delaying activity. Wendy is doing great with holding her potty in a crate and with careful supervision while out of the crate has few accidents. Wendy has a lot of energy but would do great with a playful second dog or as an only dog with an owner who has an active lifestyle! Wendy also loves anything that gets her mind working (treat balls, working on commands etc) this also helps with her energy level.

This dog will be available at Saturday’s adoption event at our rescue. Small dog meet and greets are 10:30-12:30 and larger dogs (over 40 lbs.) are from 11:30-1:30. Our address is:

Our adult dog adoption fee is $300 (with $5 processing fee if paid by card) and includes spay or neuter, rabies, DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, deworming, microchip, heart worm test and lifetime registration.
