25-099 Cole "Coming Soon!"'s Story

Cole is a 1 year old, 60 pound flat-coat retriever mix (our best guess!) who was abandoned in a small-town church parking lot east of Dallas, where he wandered confused and hungry for several days. Once a foster spot finally opened, we discovered he had begun showing signs of an injury to his right rear foot. We don't know exactly what happened, but his sweet boy ended up with a fractured toe, possible puncture wounds, and pad abrasions.

While he recovers from his physical injury, Cole is absolutely thriving in his foster homesoaking up the company of friendly resident dogs and all the love from his doting foster mom. He's a happy, friendly, well-rounded guy with a wonderful temperament.

Cole is also heartworm-positive, but he will be starting treatment soon, and DSDA will cover all of his medical care.

This sweet, resilient boy is ready for his next chapterone filled with safety, love, and a forever family of his own.

To meet Cole in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.

ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.
