Release date 3/7. Leo needs a kind and patient person, or a rescue to help him. This young dog doesn't seem to have been socialized, and this environment is not helping him at all. Leo is letting us get him in and out of his pen now, but he is still fearful, and slow to trust people. We hope someone can help this terrified dog, so he can learn to enjoy being around people, and not be so fearful. Leo is a handsome dog too, we hope he can be adopted soon after his stray hold is up. During the renovation period at the SCDWD, the adoption cost has been reduced to $74, for all dogs, puppies included. $99.00 fee (puppies under 6 months of age are $150.00) includes OH license, DA2PP, Bordetella vaccine, Heartworm testing, dewormer, and spay/neuter. Flea treatment will be provided if fleas are noticed. All dogs will be spayed/neutered and microchipped before leaving the facility. An e-collar may be purchased for $15.00. Because most of our dogs were picked up as strays, we have no knowledge of any behavior or health issues. Stray dogs are held for 72 hours before being placed for adoption. We welcome and encourage the cross posting of our dog's pictures to increase adoptions.
