Meet 18-386 Carly
Carly #18-386. Arrived 8/16/2018 at 8 months old.
Carly came to us in pretty bad condition. She was emaciated, limping, and had open sores throughout her body. It was also obvious that Carly had not been socialized in her upbringing and at this very young age, this change of environment was taking its toll on her, from the moment she walked into the shelter. Several days into her stay with us, Carly got sick. She had a fever and she was painful. After spending a week at the animal hospital, Carly came back with the diagnosis of having had a vaccine reaction. Carly has been on medications since that incident and has been stable and doing very well medically. Carly is a young girl with lots of energy. She lacks inhibition when it comes to interacting with you and toys. Toys get her a little crazy and intense while playing fetch. Carly has blossomed with her socialization, our adoption staff has made huge strides with showing her all that there is in the world to experience. Carly seeks a home where she will be closely monitored for the medical issues she showed. She also will need structure and training while transitioning from the shelter environment to a home environment which she likely has not ever experienced in her young life.
