17-653 Relish Pit Bull Terrier Amityville, NY

Relish #17-653. Arrived 11/6/2017 at 3-5 years old.
Relish was found abandoned on a property where no one lived, yet he had taken up residence on the front steps. He came and went off the property and was fed by people in the area. Relish deserved more then that and we hope we can prove to him that life IS full of so much more. Relish is a gentleman and a lover. He follows you around and wants simply to be with you. Relish sits and leans for petting and when you stop, he nuzzles your hand for more petting. Relish will give you his belly for rubs and he has no control of the funny flips his one ear will do when he is happy. When Relish goes into a trot, we see glimpses of the Bulldog swagger from the rear, he does have a short funny tail too! Relish definitely has the appearance of a hard life. He was infested with fleas and slowly has hair growing back where he was once bald to the skin. Relish does have a heart murmur; we hope to have further diagnostics on this soon. Relish also has an incredible amount of wear on his teeth, we can only imagine what it is that caused this. He is missing all of his upper incisors and his lower incisors are worn to stubs. All four of his canine teeth are sheared on the front side down to the pulp. Relish doesn't have pain, and he is a very good eater. Relish loves his treats and he becomes instant friends the moment he is handed one.
