Release date 11/8. Another black beauty waiting for a forever home, at the SCDWD! Venus is such a friendly girl, loves attention, and loves to love on people, She will sit nicely for her treats too! Venus can be a little choosy about her other canine friends, so a meet and greet is encouraged. Her stray hold has come and gone, and she still waits, with very little or no interest, from visitors. Please, let's change that for her, stop in and ask to meet Venus, she would love to hang out with you in the volunteer room. Meet Venus soon, all the dogs are hoping for a happy, warm home for the holidays! During the renovation period at the SCDWD, the adoption cost has been reduced to $74, for all dogs, puppies included. $99.00 fee (puppies under 6 months of age are $150.00) includes OH license, DA2PP, Bordetella vaccine, Heartworm testing, dewormer, and spay/neuter. Flea treatment will be provided if fleas are noticed. All dogs will be spayed/neutered and microchipped before leaving the facility. An e-collar may be purchased for $15.00. Because most of our dogs were picked up as strays, we have no knowledge of any behavior or health issues. Stray dogs are held for 72 hours before being placed for adoption. We welcome and encourage the cross posting of our dog's pictures to increase adoptions.
