Guido has not received much attention from visitors, which is a shame, they are missing out on meeting a sweet dog! Guido has been in a noisy, stressful environment for almost two months now, and it is wearing on him. He is also one of our heartworm positive dogs, but please know, HW is treatable. Friends of Stark Pound (FOSP) will donate up to $500 towards his treatment, and we have many caring people willing to help add to that amount. Guido needs you, please, stop in and meet him! Release date 7/30, We hope this handsome guy doesn't have to stay at the SCDWD for too long, such a nice dog! Guido is pretty strong, but has been well behaved for us, enjoys going for walks. He will eagerly sit for his treats, and take them gently from your hand. Come in and meet Guido, you are sure to love him! $99.00 fee (puppies under 6 months of age are $150.00) includes OH license, DA2PP, Bordetella vaccine, Heartworm testing, dewormer, and spay/neuter. Flea treatment will be provided if fleas are noticed. All dogs will be spayed/neutered and microchipped before leaving the facility. An e-collar may be purchased for $15.00. Because most of our dogs were picked up as strays, we have no knowledge of any behavior or health issues. Stray dogs are held for 72 hours before being placed for adoption. We welcome and encourage the cross posting of our dog's pictures to increase adoptions.
