Just because you have a cat doesn’t mean that your house needs to be filled with ugly, torn-up furniture and scratched-up carpets. The trick is to design a cat-friendly home where both you and your feline friend can be comfortable.
“Catification is about creating feline-friendly environments that cater to a cat’s natural instincts to climb, perch, rest, play, and own their space,” says their Catification column. And, simply put, creating a space where your cat can express his natural instincts makes it easier for you to have nice things because your cat will be less likely to act out.
So, in honor of Petfinder’s I am a Cat Parent campaign — a campaign devoted to proving everyone can love a cat — Jackson and Kate are sharing a weekly Catification tip with us. Check out this week’s in our gallery and come back next week for more great tips!
