Meet Zola
Zola is a calm and sensitive 10-year-old Tortoiseshell short hair filled with all the elements to make a great companion.
Zola stays grounded in the home by enjoying morning yoga fresh off the bed comforter. She can contort so expertly it would make a yogi jealous. Zola also enjoys (a little too much) the fruits of the earth that can be found in her food bowl. She will need to continue to eat in moderation at her forever home. Zola has waves of wanting affection (on her terms) and wanting her own space. She will let you know when the tide has turned from wanting pets to needing time to herself by giving a gentle, clawless swat, to (not so subtly) get her message across. Zola comes into the home shy and sensitive to noise or high activity, but with a lot of patience to help her stoke her confidence, her fiery torti-tude warms the room.
Zola prefers a calmer and quieter home than the tornado that children, other cats, or dogs provide. As a result, she will need to be the only pet in the home. Higher winds from activity in the home are often met with Zola bracing herself in a nook rather than taking the bustle in stride.
Zola is a calm, sensitive, and quirky cat who has a bit of earth, wind, water, and fire in her. She will need a very patient and loving home to give her the space and time to stoke her fire. If you would like to meet her apply at pethavenmn.org/adopt/
Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
