Zoey

Please meet Zoey, an action-packed kitten who loves to run and play. She was born at the beginning of July 2025. When she was just a few weeks old she was found and then surrendered to an emergency vet clinic due to her missing eye. It was most likely a birth defect but nobody knows for sure. Desert Paws Rescue took her in with open arms and scheduled her enucleation surgery ASAP. Zoey's surgery was a success and she did so well recovering wearing her cone. She still purred all the time.🥰 Having only one eye hasn't affected Zoey's personality or energy level, since that's all she's ever known. She's very playful and loves chasing the spring toys and other kitties and climbing the cat trees. Zoey is also very cuddly; she sleeps all night curled up next to her foster mom. She met other kitties for the first time at her foster home and has great fun with all of them, young and old, but still plays a little rough.
