Ziti's Story

Meet Ziti, a talkative roly poly cuddle ball of a cat with looks AND purrsonality! She came to Pittsburgh CAT with her five kittens (she was a VERY good mommy!) and now that her kittens have been adopted and she's no longer on mommy duty, she's ready to relax and have fun! She is REALLY excited about cuddles - she runs up to her foster mom the second she sees her and presses her body against her legs, insisting on cuddles. She's chatty, but not in an obnoxious way - she makes the most delightful chirps and trills; it almost sounds like there's a little bird in the room!

Ziti loves to play and is curious about everything, but her main focus is getting human attention. She's friendly and inquisitive and wants to be where the people are, even if there are strangers - this girl isn't shy! She's also pretty easy going and even gets along well with other cats.

Ziti will roll around on the floor and show her tummy, asking to be petted, as she purrs up a storm, making biscuits by the dozen (aka kneading). She's a hardcore cuddler and will even give playful little love nibbles. Her foster mom is a huge fan of these sweet little nibbles, however, they may be too much for young children, so Ziti would be better suited for a home with children who can understand that she's not trying to hurt them.

Ziti is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV (she is FIV+), and up-to-date on all vaccinations. She's estimated to be about 1-2 years old. If you're looking for a cuddly and entertaining constant companion, Ziti may be the kitty for you!

(Cats with FIV [that's feline immunodeficiency virus] have a weaker immune system. All that means for you is that they need some extra love and care, such as keeping up with yearly vet exams and watching to make sure they don't pick up any infections. Most FIV+ cats do not show symptoms and have a normal life expectancy, although they can be prone to secondary infections. FIV cats can live happily in a stable household with other kitties; FIV is not spread through normal casual contact. When cats with FIV go up for adoption through Pittsburgh CAT, they are healthy, happy, and ready for their forever homes!)

If you're interested in adopting, the first step is to fill out the application here:
http://bit.ly/3VDJfhm
