Zelda's Story

Zelda is a special case and needs a special home. She is a super affectionate wacky old lady. She loves pets so much that she will literally lift both of her back legs off the ground to get her little butt closer to your hand. Zelda is neurologically abnormal. She is partially blind and likely has a brain tumor, which will significantly shorten her life span. Sadly, she was found as a stray. Given her impairment, she was likely dumped. She's looking for a safe landing spot to live our her days. Upper Valley Humane Society's Adoption Policy

Adopters look at our website for available animals. They reach out to the shelter, we send a survey and they return it. We look it over, make an appointment for a meet n greet with the animal. If the meet n greet goes well, the family may adopt the pet for an adoption fee.
