ZAC# 9370
Mâle, Jeune, Stérilisé, Vermifugé, Vacciné et Micropucé

ZAC est un ravissant tabby gris, aux grands yeux verts et au minois très triste. Âgé d'environ 18 mois, il est en excellente santé quoiqu'un peu maigre. Trouvé errant, ZAC est été apporté au refuge début mai 2023, donc nous ne connaissons malheureusement rien de son passé. Cependant, le pauvre petit coeur a dû subir de la maltraitance ou un traumatisme quelconque puisque quand on approche la main de sa tête pour le flatter, il a un mouvement de recul et il s'écrase en fermant les yeux, comme s'il craignait être frappé :(

ZAC est très affectueux, doux, gentil et docile. Il se jette à vos pieds et vous montre son ventre et se laisse caresser et bécoter; on peut le prendre dans nos bras. Dès que vous entrez dans la salle, le petit-coeur vous suit partout et restera près de vous. Il semble plutôt malheureux dans son nouvel environnement - une salle avec plusieurs autres chats autour de lui, surtout avec un autre mâle très dominant qui lui fait la vie dure. Ainsi, ZAC aime être en hauteur pour se sentir en sécurité et observer les oiseaux. Pour lui faire plaisir, ses adoptants devraient lui offrir un bel arbre à chats avec une plateforme, placé proche d'une grande fenêtre ou porte-patio.

Monsieur a un tempérament sensible et tendre; il n'a aucune méchanceté en lui - au contraire, il démontre plusieurs signes de soumission. Comme le gourmand raffole des gâteries, ce sera une bonne façon d'initier le contact avec lui pour établir ensuite une relation de confiance. Il faudra prendre le temps d'intéragir et jouer avec ZAC régulièrement et vous verrez combien aimable il est!

Ayant vécu des gros changements de vie ces dernières semaines, la nouvelle famille de ZAC devra être empathique et tolérante afin de lui laisser le temps de s'acclimater à sa nouvelle famille et domicile. Nous recommandons un foyer serein et chaleureux, sans jeunes enfants et sans chiens car ZAC est un minet un peu craintif qui n'apprécie pas trop les endroits bruyants ou trop actifs alors il faut éviter les situations de stress qui nuiraient à son épanouissement et à son bien-être. Le sympathique garçon pourrait cohabiter avec un autre chat non-dominant mais il faudra lui prévoir une période d'intégration. Idéalement, ZAC serait le seul chat de la maisonnée - comme ça, il sera le petit prince qui aura droit à tout votre amour.

Le séduisant ZAC a hâte d'être choyé et de connaître le comfort et la sécurité. Ce merveilleux compagnon vous apportera énormément de bonheur au quotidien. Il est prêt pour qu'on lui trouve des parents bienveillants et attentionnés qui l'aimeront de tout coeur!

Male, Young, Sterilized, Dewormed, Vaccinated & Microchipped

ZAC is a handsome grey tabby with very sad green eyes and face. Approximately 18 month-old, he's in excellent health although slightly skinny. ZAC was found as a stray and brought to the shelter in early May 2023 so we unfortunately know nothing of his past. However, we believe that this poor boy must have been mistreated or have experienced some kind of trauma; when you approach your hand to pet him on the head, he will pull back, close his eyes and bracing himself as if he feared being hit :(

ZAC is very affectionate, gentle, sweet and docile. He throws himself at your feet and shows you his tummy so you can pet and kiss him; you can hold him in your arms. The minute you enter the room, this lovebug will follow you around and will stay close to you. He appears to be quite unhappy in his new environment - he's uncomfortable being in a room with several other cats and especially dealing with a very dominant male that is being nasty with him. That's why ZAC likes to perch himself up high to feel safe and to birdwatch. To please him, his adopters should provide him with a nice cat tree with a platform placed near a large window or the patio door.

This young gentleman has a sensitive and tender nature and does not have a mean bone in his body; on the contrary he displays all the behaviors of a submissive kitty. As he is crazy about tasty cat treats, this is a good way to start establishing contact with him and creating a trusting relationship. You will need to take time to interact and play with ZAC regularly and you'll quickly see how sweet he truly is!

As he has recently known many upsetting changes in his life, ZAC's new family will need to be tolerant and empathetic, giving him time to adjust to his new family
and home. We recommend a serene and welcoming home without young children or dogs as ZAC is easily scared and doesn't appreciate loud noises or too much activity around him so it would be important to avoid stressful situations that would be detrimental to his wellbeing. This lovely fellow could cohabitate with another non-dominant cat but you will need to provide ZAC with an integration period. Ideally, he would be happiest as the only cat in the household, that way, he will be your little Prince who gets all your love.

ZAC is looking forward to being cherished and to experience a life of comfort and security. This wonderful companion will bring you much happiness on a daily basis. He deserves to find caring and attentive adopters who will love him with all their hearts!
